Opened in 2006 by husband and wife Joseph and Natalie Abboud, Rumi is a contemporary Middle Eastern restaurant that reflects Levantine and Persian flavours. Named after the Persian poet and inspired by the words of Lebanese author Khalil Gibran, Rumi is a homage to the culture and hospitality of the Mediterranean that has played so large a part in the lives of the Abbouds.

Khalil Gibran once wrote that eating and drinking should be an act of worship to the land and animals that provide us our sustenance. So we invite you, your family and friends to share the food, wine and culture that has shaped and inspired us.
